Borkowskis, Schwade and Miller honored at WIB luncheon

Lauren Schwade, manager of The Bake Shop; Angie Miller, general manager of Professional Computer Systems; and the mother-daughter team of Cindy and Taylor Borkowski, owners of The Cottage, were all honored at the annual Women In Business (WIB) luncheon that took place last week Wednesday, April 24, at Stables at Copper Ridge.

The Women In Business luncheon is a program of the Chamber & Development Council of Crawford County.

Denison Mayor Pam Soseman was the keynote speaker at the event.

Schwade received the Emerging Business Woman Award.

Miller was the recipient of the Business Woman of the Year award.

U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst presented the Borkowskis with the Small Business of the Week Award.
