D-S girls compete in Spencer golf invitational

The Denison-Schleswig girls’ varsity golf team competed in the Spencer Invitational on Monday, April 29.

Scores were 360 for Spencer, 402 for Estherville Lincoln Central, 417 for Algona, 418 for Storm Lake, 423 for Spirit Lake, 426 for Sioux City East, 440 for Mason City and 443 for Denison-Schleswig. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn competed but did not yield a full time.

Individual scores for Denison-Schleswig were Emily Bahnsen with 100, Tanna Petersen with 111, and Maggie Hennings and Myah Schwarte with 116 each.
