First installment paid on Washington Park playground equipment

The new playground equipment for Washington Park in Denison is now ordered.
Last week the city council approved the payment of the first installment on the equipment. That installment was in the amount of $231,215, or 50% down on the equipment.
The first installment guarantees the city will receive the equipment at the 2023 prices.
The city council approved the proposed renderings of the playground equipment prior to approving the payment of the first installment.
