Nancy Ann (Woebke) Simonsen

A celebration of life for Nancy Ann (Woebke) Simonsen, 69, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Manilla Memorial Hall.

She passed away March 29 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Simonsen, and her boyfriend, Scott Fink, of Manilla; sons, Bill Simonsen and wife, Sheila, of Manilla, Jeff Simonsen, of Marengo, and Kyle Simonsen, of Laurens; six grandchildren; a sister, Caryl and her husband, Curt Stribe, of Manning; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The Ohde Funeral Home is entrusted with her services.

James Aldag

Memorial services for James Aldag, 78, of Kiron, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig with visitation at 9:30 a.m.

Inurnment will be at the Morgan Cemetery.

He passed away April 9 at Denison Care Center.

Survivors include two sons, Travis Aldag and wife, Lynette, of Ida Grove, and Troy Aldag and wife, Dorota, of Massachusetts; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Winsor, of Nebraska, and JoAnn Clausen, of Schleswig; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services are entrusted to the Huebner Funeral Home.

Roger D. Chisholm

Roger D. Chisholm, 77, of Kiron, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Memorial were at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Schleswig.

The Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home in Ida Grove was in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Roger’s name may be made to the Kiron Fire Department or Schleswig Fire Department.
