Immanuel Schleswig to host LWML spring rally

The LWML group of Immanuel Schleswig will host the Denison Zone LWML spring rally on Thursday, April 18, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig.  

Registration for the rally will start at 9 a.m.; the rally will begin at 9:30 a.m.

 The theme is "A Light To My Path" taken from Psalm 119:105.

Mission Central Pastoral Advisor and Mission Development Counselor Rev. Steve Schultz, from Mapleton, will be the guest speaker.  He will explain why it is necessary to send missionaries around the world to tell other people about Jesus.

Those attending are invited to bring gift cards from Fareway, Hy-Vee and Walmart to help support the guests of Mission Central.  

Rally attendees may also bring school supplies and hygiene items for the Orphan Grain Train mission work.

Lunch will be served following the rally and a short informal meeting.  

Everyone is invited.
