Iowa High School Music Association 1A/3A Large Group Festival at Denison High School, starts at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors (65+) and $5 for students K-12. DHS Concert Choir performs at 4:30 p.m., DHS Chamber Chorale at 5:45 p.m., DHS 9-10 Concert Band at 7:25 p.m. and DHS 11-12 Concert Band at 9:05 p.m.

Crawford County Garden Club plant sale, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Morningside Park. Selling house plants, perennials, annuals and garden art.
May the 4th Be With You at the Children’s Library at Norelius Community Library, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Play lightsaber and other themed games, do themed crafts and enjoy themed snacks. Space movie t-shirts or costumes are encouraged, but please leave toy weapons at home.
Your First Quilt Program at Norelius Community Library, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Participants use Stacey Lee Creatives Your First Quilt YouTube videos. For adults 19 and older. Program runs every two weeks until quilts are finished. To register, go to the library’s website. If the class is full, sign up for the waiting list.
Manilla Madness bike ride through the hills of Crawford County. Register at 11 a.m. at Hy-Vee parking lot. Ride to Manilla begins at 12 p.m. Snacks and beverages at the half-way point at Pat Palmer and family residence. Food and beverages in Manilla. Return to Denison to rest or ride the Wheels to Heels trail around Yellow Smoke Park, and then stay for Hot Summer Nights in Uptown Denison. Riders receive complimentary drink at Hot Summer Nights. Registration fee is $20.

Hot Summer Nights, 6-11:59 p.m. in Uptown Denison. Food, beverages, music and family entertainment in the Kids’ Zone.
