DELOIT CITY COUNCIL MEETING
November 14, 2023

The council meeting called to order by Mayor Braasch and roll call were Anderson, Kelly, Lorenzen, Mulligan, and Schillerberg. Absent: None.

The agenda was approved by Anderson/ Schillerberg. All approved. Reading of last month’s minutes was waived by Mulligan/Schillerberg. All approved.

Deanna Campbell was not present and the land she was questioning had not been surveyed. Brenda Crouch was not at the meeting. A certified register letter will be sent to Brenda stating her presence at the next meeting is required. Carolyn and Dick Lorenzen want the removal of the RR container on 326 Kane Street. The owner of 326 Kane Street stated that he will sell the RR container and get it moved soon. He will get permission to put a building on the land of 326 Kane Street. Dick Lorenzen how about clean up the town for example Sally Casey’s house. We are working on that problem. The Mayor is not happy with Thrasher. He called them but has not received a responded back. The City Clerk will call and see if we get pay back for the tile, glue, and Doug’s time before and after from Thrasher. Ann Hikins want the burn pile cleaned up by the end of November. The burn pile has pumpkins, roof shingles, large stump of trees and plus more stuff. If not clean up, she will not let us burn there. The Annual Finance Report (AFR) was approved by a motion by Lorenzen/ Schillerberg. All Approved
