March 13, 3:23 p.m.: The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigated a two-vehicle accident that happened in Schleswig. Thomas Peter Uhl, 67, of Schleswig, was driving a blue 2012 Ford F250 pickup on E Avenue, was turning to go north on 6th Street and cut the corner sharp. He stated that he did not see an E-Z-GO golf cart that was in the process of turning right. The golf cart, being driven by Kandi Lee Teut, 74, of Schleswig, struck the pickup in the front driver side wheel. The golf cart had the right of way to turn right. No one was injured. The pickup was not damaged and the golf cart received $1,000 damage.
