Rocket launch on Monday Funday

The last Monday Funday for the 2023-2024 school year took place Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Denison. Among the activities were the launching of rockets made from plastic bottles and powered by vinegar and baking soda, and an old-fashioned sack relay race. Pictured, a helper pours vinegar into a bottle, and Jess Schmidt reacts to a bottle that launched. Also pictured is the relay race.
