Leading With Purpose

The Chamber & Development Council of Crawford County (CDC) announced that this year’s Annual Women in Business Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, April 24, from noon to 1 p.m. at Stables at Copper Ridge in Denison.

Tickets are $15 per person, which includes a meal prepared by Staley’s Catering.

Seating is limited. Attendees should RSVP by Friday, April 19, at www.cdcia.org/wib-luncheon or by calling the CDC office at 712-263-5621 or by emailing mnutt@cdcia.org.

This year's luncheon will be an inspiring event, featuring a keynote address by none other than Denison Mayor Pam Soseman. Soseman's unwavering dedication to community involvement has made her an icon of inspiration for women across our region. Her passion for empowering women and fostering community engagement is truly remarkable, said Mariah Nutt, CDC office manager and event organizer.

"I am thrilled to welcome Mayor Pam Soseman as our guest speaker for this year's Women in Business Luncheon. Mayor Soseman's leadership shows the importance of community involvement and the impact of women in leadership positions. I am confident that Mayor Soseman's insights will inspire and empower all who attend,” she said.

In addition to Soseman's address, the luncheon will feature the presentation of the “Emerging Women in Business” and “Businesswoman of the Year” awards, honoring individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in their business/organization and a commitment to driving positive change in Crawford County.
