Hot Summer Nights adds $12,000 to wellness center fund

Taylor Borkowski, who organizes the Hot Summer Nights events in Uptown Denison, presented a $12,000 check to the City of Denison on Tuesday, November 21. The money is going into the fund for the Crawford County Wellness Center. It was raised through this past summer’s series of events. Borkowski thanked the council for allowing the events to take place, the public works department for its help and City Clerk Jodie Flaherty for keeping the accounts for the wellness center. Pictured from right are Jessica Garcia, Pam Soseman, Borkowski and Jennifer Zupp-Smith. Besides being city officials, Garcia, Soseman and Zupp-Smith are on the wellness center committee.
